The January transfer window will be upon us before we know it, believe me. Time flies and we should all probably already be doing our Christmas shopping for presents too. If we are lucky, there could be a goalscoring gift under the Blue Army's figurative Xmas tree. Will Leicester City sign a viable centre forward in the New Year? I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you! Could another loanee come in? Julian Carranza would probably have to depart in order to do that.
Championship clubs are permitted to have five loaned players in any given matchday squad. For argument's sake, a roster can actually contain more than that allocation. Though it is so complicated for City to get any new recruits through the door at the moment. That's because of LCFC's difficult and testing financial predicament. Restrictions are even said to be imposed by the English Football League. Yet we have no confirmation of that allegation; the EFL website doesn't indicate this is the case.
Nevertheless, Leicester's fan base will more than likely have to wait patiently for deadwood and dross to be offloaded from this season's disappointing roster. If the Foxes are able to unload Patson Daka to a one-time managerial candidate at Rangers, that'd be a start and the possible propulsion in order to sign a more suitable replacement.
Patson Daka transfer rumour claims Leicester City have chance to foist Danny Rohl at Rangers
According to an apparent "exclusive" from SportsBoom, the new Gers head coach wants to secure Daka's arrival. Rohl reportedly could have been the King Power saviour; now he might save us from Daka's misfiring boots!
"New Rangers boss Danny Rohl is eyeing Leicester City striker Patson Daka as a new signing. Daka, in the final year of his contract, is attracting interest from Rohl who sees him as a perfect fit for Scottish football. The move could provide Daka with a platform to resurrect his career after a muted spell at Leicester."
If you are not aware, Daka wasn't good enough the Premier League. In addition to that, he's now drastically struggling in tier two. His contract expires soon; a sale would be ideal.
