Reading between the lines just a little bit regarding very recent Marti Cifuentes comments on the January transfer window reveals that he definitely wants these two Leicester City players to be sold. The East Midlands football club has never accepted wantaway footballers in its midst - absolutely justifiably. As they say, a rotten apple can ruin the entire barrel. And LCFC may have two, or more, bad apples within their current roster.

Now that the opportunity to move deadwood, unwanted and uncommitted players on in the winter market has arisen - City must strike while the iron is hot. Well, it might actually be heating up at last on Filbert Way, at least! While the Michail Antonio signing fell through, another striker has been pinpointed and will supposedly be targeted. That man: Callum Wilson. The source: ExWHUEmployee.

Although unfortunately, the King Power outfit probably won't get their claws on Dan Neil of Sunderland: he's potentially moving north of the border with Rangers. So, putting possible incomings aside for now, what's going on with the personnel who are said to respectively wish to depart LE2? In addition to the previous updates, Cifuentes has personally spoken of a need, or intention, to sell. He wants those undesirable 'professionals' to go as soon as possible. He even insinuated who they are.

Leicester City head coach Marti Cifuentes implies that out of favour star duo are not dedicated to Foxes cause - the former Queens Park Rangers boss is obviously referring to Harry Winks and Wout Faes

Faes was an underwhelming and surprising signing when he joined Leicester over three years ago. Why the surprise? He was, rather concerningly, the sole addition that summer.

Winks has fared much better in a blue shirt overall. The Belgium international had a few decent moments, though the England-capped man was fairly instrumental in the previous Championship campaign under Enzo Maresca's leadership.

Read below to see if you agree that they are indeed the pair alluded to:

"It’s not a secret that some players wanted to leave in the summer. For some reasons, some of them didn’t leave, because it was not the right opportunity or the right offer for the club.

“Now we need to see what happens during this window. The reality is that we want everybody here to be 100 per cent involved and 100 per cent committed. Now in a transfer window, anything can happen. I expect there will be departures.

“I don’t want to speak about individuals. But there were players who, when I arrived, were quite clear that it was not about the manager or anything else, but that they felt their time at the club was over."
