Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder and once England National Team representative, Harry Winks, is in a tough spot at Leicester City Football Club. While he was a one-time star at King Power Stadium, and considered one of the brighter talents amongst the squad, there is seemingly no way back into the Foxes team for the 29-year-old.
In addition to taking a look at the Winks situation, explaining it and offering insight from experts, there is a further topical story I would like to discuss with the Blue Army. A loaned asset on Filbert Way is set to make a swift exit after an uninspiring spell with LCFC. What is the score with Julian Carranza exactly? Is talk of his parent club Feyenoord selling the struggling Argentine striker to a Mexican side realistic?
Leicester City are set to lose an unwanted loan player
Getting rid of some deadwood (I don't particularly like to employ that phrase when referring to professional athletes, but when in Rome, as they say) is one of the beneficial aspects of the January transfer window. Signing a few prerequisite recruits in LE2 wouldn't be a bad thing either!
One temporary Fox appears to be leaving imminently, according to apparently trustworthy, available sources. Carranza won't be remembered fondly by the City fan base for footballing reasons.
The 25-year-old is said to be on the way to Liga MX nearer his home country. He'll reportedly join Mexicans Club Necaxa. We wish Carranza well back on a more familiar continent.

A significant Harry Winks claim has emerged for Foxes fans
I must admit that this revelation is not at all shocking. It is no surprise whatsoever after what has been indicated (a lack of commitment to team preparations) about the ex-Spurs man by multiple managers.
It was always heading this way in my opinion. And now Jordan Blackwell of Leicester Mercury has revealed that "it seems there is no route back into the fold for the midfielder".
I imagine Winks will depart in the New Year, or in the summer for sure. But hopefully it is January so we can sign a replacement.
