I imagine that head coach of Leicester City Football Club, Marti Cifuentes, has earned himself another reprieve from the chop on Filbert Way. I arrive at that stance after another victory sandwiched in between losses versus beatable opposition. The lack of consistency attributed to the Foxes this season is naturally a huge worry. Of course, Cifuentes is aware of this: he has pointed to his squad and the previous regime, in true political accusatory fashion.
Yet, nothing much changes. I sincerely hope that the Derby County victory is a final turning point for the contemporary LCFC side, along with the boss. You can see growth with respect to certain personnel: Luke Thomas and Oliver Skipp are definite candidates in that regard. A certain toughness, along with now collectively performing in more than 45 minute spells, are emerging too.
In addition to those factors, the naive dreamers among the Blue Army (such as yours truly) still believe that an English Football League Championship Playoff spot is possible in the East Midlands this season. We will need Jordan James to continue his excellent contributions at both ends of the pitch to progress. In the meantime, Bobby De Cordova-Reid being deployed at No.10 has been a relative stroke of genius.
The duo's first half goals did the damage against the Rams on Monday night. I would love to analyse their finishes with you.
Bobby De Cordova-Reid's Leicester City goal vs Derby County
Abdul Fatawu embarrassing derby-day defenders is a demonstrable display of divine deftness. I love Fatawu! And I also admire alliteration.

Once Fatawu has completed his swift but excellent job, De Cordova-Reid has the ambition, instinct and ability to be in the right place at the right time to apply the finish.

Judging from this run, barge and beautiful shot, JJ could even play as a striker!

James is such a great footballer. An athlete who deserves to be in the Premier League! Let's hope he achieves that feat with City.
