On this occasion (Thursday, January 1 or New Year's Day) I have chosen to react to Marti Cifuentes' brand new Leicester City lineup ahead of the Sheffield United game which will kick off in under an hour from the moment of our publication. As always with English Football League Championship games, especially away it seems when travelling north towards or in Yorkshire, winning isn't an easy feat!

So City boss Cifuentes has a new idea in order to attempt to gain a vital victory at Bramall Lane. Of course, the East Midlands outfit are above their opponents in England's second division at present. So the Blue Army fan base is holding onto some form of hope for three points right now. Yet inconsistency and setbacks are possible, as is all too familiar under the former Queens Park Rangers head coach.

But what did the Catalonian change within his Foxes starting lineup? We have two alterations to detail, explain and discuss with our readership. So let's waste no time and get down to it!

Marti Cifuentes makes two changes to Leicester City side as new striker comes in to cut through the Blades defence

First of all, captain and fan favourite Ricardo Pereira is back in, thankfully. He replaced the reliable but lesser defender (and attacker) Hamza Choudhury. As you can tell, I advocate this switch.

Cifuentes was compelled to deploy one other player in South Yorkshire who didn't start against Derby County: Silko Thomas. It looks like the 21-year-old has been given a big responsibility too: replacing the weak and occasionally lacklustre Jordan Ayew up front and actually scoring some goals!

Jordan Blackwell of Leicester Mercury does agree that this is the way it seems. The gaffer is a big admirer of S.Thomas - as you can tell! In his first start, the forward will want to net second goal for City.
