Whether you rate soon-to-be ex-Leicester City defender James Justin or not, this is certainly the correct time to sell him. The fair fee received for the one-time England-cap is even more incentive. When adding the latest expected amount to the other figures City have gotten for sold players this summer, you get quite the transfer war chest. In fact, the King Power outfit have supposedly already raised up to £50 million; with more assets forecasted to leave while the market remains active.

It is unlear if the currently notoriously frugal Foxes bosses actually plan to spend any of this money on signings where it is desperately required? Or, will the powers-that-be in the East Midlands retain profits and leave team manager Marti Cifuentes with an underwhelming squad in certain areas? Which stars could follow Justin out of the door? And, if chairman Aiyawatt 'Khun Top' does get his dusty chequebook out - which type of additions or specific acquisitions and loans can the Blue Army fan base expect?

Fair fee for James Justin gives Leicester City approximately £50 million in profit this summer but do we envision signings from the war chest?

Listen, I'm not a Justin fan anymore. I was once. Though his quality, endeavour, tenacity and attacking productivity simply dipped far too low. His right side was even being, very justifiably, targeted by opposing head coaches last season.

"Leicester City are said to have identified Metz teenager Idrissa Gueye as their potential new striker"

Justin was at fault for a staggering amount of goals in 2025/26, with an online viral video acting as proof for bewildered and disbelieving Foxes fans. Now that the 27-year-old's contract is in its final year and he's still worth something, it is time to cash in.

"Leeds United have agreed a deal with Leicester City to sign full-back James Justin. A package consisting of an initial £8million that could rise to £10m in potential add-ons is in place. He is set to undergo a medical ahead of the proposed move."

Finding a rather desperate Premier League club to sell to for £10m was ideal. Yet the cash must be reinvested in several LCFC positions, chiefly striker. However, inexpensive signings like youths and loans are what some predict. Hopefully Leicester are serious about one of these centre forwards they're linked with.
