A host of clubs for a plethora of players

I've personally never known so many Leicester City players to be targeted during preseason. Not even the last time we were embarrassingly relegated were such a load of City stars, prospects and fringe personnel wanted. The vultures have truly begun circling; some have even already captured themselves a tasty Fox before now!

And the procession of LCFC athletes to leave could well continue all the way up until the Champions transfer market closes on September 1. As I say, differing levels of Foxes are being eyed up at the moment. A foremost talent, Mads Hermansen, has already departed. We now expect standouts such as Bilal El Khannouss to go to Crystal Palace too, after Fabrizio Romano reported on the matter.

Though less well-known or notable Leicester squad members like Silko Thomas are said to have admirers as well. In fact, the ex-Wigan Athletic loanee is ostensibly being tracked by numerous teams. His so far unnamed potential suitors have apparently emerged from the Championship and Football League One.

In addition to that rumour, outstanding young City winger Jeremy Monga is on the list of probably the two most famous or successful outfits of all-time: Barcelona and Real Madrid. That prospective switch may have come too soon for Monga; albeit, I wouldn't rule out a marquee move like that for him in the future. Meanwhile a fellow side which was demoted from the top flight reportedly want to sign another Leicester Academy graduate.

Ipswich Town hold an ostensible interest in Leicester's Kasey McAteer. I consider McAteer to be one of, if not the, most underrated LCFC footballers at present. Nevertheless, the Blues are credited with fancying a swoop for the Republic of Ireland international by a top source.
