While a bittersweet moment occurred for one of the current stars of Leicester City Football Club whilst he was on international duty, the consequences may be a plus point for the Foxes. And LCFC requires all the help they can get at the moment - on and off the field of play! So what fitness boost has transpired for the King Power outfit?

In the meantime, the same cannot be said for this City's upcoming opponents, Stoke City. The Potters are actually flying very high in the division at the moment. Occupying third position in a particularly demanding and competitive environment such as the English Football League Championship is not an easy feat.

However, will two potential injury blows suffered recently and previously derail the Stoke-on-Trent side? Can the East Midlands team take advantage of this and their own renewed optimism when the two meet on Filbert Way on Saturday, November 22? Let's discuss the events.

Bad news for Stoke City?

Mark Robins could still be without long-time absentee but potentially important striker Sam Gallagher. Robins revealed they have 'got to wait, it's as simple as that'.

Yet the Potter was supposedly on track for a return. Meanwhile 'Powerhouse' Bosun Lawal is also a doubt:

"The versatile powerhouse was expected to be out for about five weeks when he suffered a hamstring injury while starring at right-back in a draw at Middlesbrough on September 30."

Double-edged bonus for Leicester City

Midfield loanee Jordan James has been a revelation at the King Power. The only thing Leicester's Blue Army fan base are worried about is whether or not the former Birmingham City man will be signed permanently.

There is apparently a buy option in James's temporary contract; which is brilliant news. Unfortunately for the Wales international, he was given a yellow card in their match against Liechtenstein.

"Leicester City midfielder Jordan James will miss Wales' World Cup qualifying clash against North Macedonia after picking up a booking in their win over Liechtenstein."

The Fox also scored his first goal for the Red Dragons in a mixed fixture for him. However, this update means James cannot play versus North Macedonia on Tuesday evening. Meaning the No.8 stays 100 per cent fit for LCFC's clash with Stoke.
