Today (Saturday, January 3), we are taking a look at the Leicester City team. Well, that's what we always ultimately do in a roundabout way here on this particular site. So I'll be more specific: how will one proposed signing affect and probably enhance the Foxes starting lineup? The man in question is no mystery as you can tell by my revealing headline: Michail Antonio.

The second suggestion is that the former West Ham United hero will undoubtedly improve the East Midlands side; specifically the main XI. Antonio brings a sporting dedication that LCFC are severely lacking at King Power Stadium right now. His notable strengths, such as power and the relentless if not occasionally erratic pursuit of goal, befits needs on Filbert Way.

Even if the Jamaica international fails to become a similar goalscoring talisman to the legendary Jamie Vardy, his inclusion will definitely help. And Antonio definitely has that sort of je ne sais quoi, indefinable magnetism that Vardy held in spades. I am not directly comparing the two; I am merely pining for a true striker.

This is how Foxes of Leicester envisage the complexion of the Leicester City lineup when hopefully new recruit Michail Antonio arrives

So let's imagine that the goalkeeper and defence remain the same, to not waste time on those two symbiotic departments. I also suspect the midfield to remain the same, or similar, upon Antonio's prospective involvement.

I would, however, advance Jordan James up to the No.10 position. Boubakary Soumare's return could facilitate that luxury development. For now, Stephy Mavididi and Abdul Fatawu appear to have the wing roles sewn up.

Yet Jeremy Monga may upset that apple cart; most likely by replacing Mavididi as opposed to the prodigious Fatawu. Therefore this would be my side when Antonio hypothetically (it is rumoured to be close) signs for Leicester:

Stolarczyk; L.Thomas, Nelson, Vestergaard, Ricardo; Skipp, Soumare, Mavididi/Monga, James, Fatawu; Antonio.
