It looks as though Abdul Fatawu's next club has been revealed

For months now, if not longer, the supporters of Leicester City Football Club have been very understanding about players having to leave in order to solve club problems. However, the Blue Army is not as forgiving is of the LCFC board's mistakes!

While fans understand that the situation must be rectified, they cannot really accept, or ever forgive, John Rudkin in particular. The chief football officer, along with chairman Top (Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha), are under suspicion because of errors that could have been handled so differently.

However, and as previously mentioned, now that the dust has settled, supporters are wiser and experienced enough to know that selling the stars to have a balanced financial outlook is the only way to possibly return to glory. Naturally, even stabilising the organisation as a whole is a must.

In order to achieve this, first of all, they rid themselves of the excessive wages of high-earners, as the club continues to navigate complex financial fair play regulations. Leicester are now moving to arrange fair fees for their exiting players, aiming to maximise revenue through strategic departures rather than merely offloading talent for nothing.

One player set to be sold is defender Ben Nelson, who continues to attract attention from clubs such as Manchester United, Torino and, apparently, West Ham United. Indeed, that latter level might perhaps be most appropriate for the centre back's ultimate development, considering he is still slightly raw despite his undoubted potential.

Oliver Skipp is another name linked with a potential exit, as the club looks to relinquish assets for value and wage reasons. Although, the most significant departure in terms of market valuation was and still is Abdul Fatawu, the dynamic Ghanaian winger.

Leicester City standout Abdul Fatawu to Everton?

The clubs previously said to be most interested in the Ghana star were Besiktas, the Hammers, Ipswich Town and Everton. Indeed, The Telegraph transfer specialist Mike McGrath claimed very recently that the Tractor Boys were already negotiating for the skilled winger, with a deal considered a real possibility.

"Everton reach agreement to sign Abdul Fatawu as Leicester City's summer budget expected to be funded."

It appears that information may be inaccurate because recent reports, including coverage from Goodison News, now suggest that the Foxes and the Merseyside outfit have reached an agreement to facilitate this transfer. Everton, having seemingly moved swiftly to secure the talented attacker, will certainly bolster their attacking options with his explosive pace and technical flair.

Fatawu is undoubtedly a Premier League-standard footballer; with the right guidance, which the coaching staff at Goodison Park can supply, he could end up starring. City will now also, hopefully, have a transfer fund.
