Ups and downs appear to carry on for Leicester City fans this year amidst the latest worrying claim about one of their favourite players. Of course, we all know that Bilal El Khannouss and Mads Hermansen could certainly be sold for LCFC to satisfy Profit and Sustainability parameters. But other standout or well-known Foxes such as Stephy Mavididi and Wilfred Ndidi are also linked with exits.
The most recent suggestion might concern the Blue Army fan base most of all. The East Midlands side are said to be at risk of losing outstanding Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu. And he could apparently switch to a Premier League club this summer. That's the assertion of one particular outlet. Let's discover what is being claimed. And, as always, discuss the implications and likelihood of this hearsay coming true.
Leicester City reportedly at risk of losing star Abdul Fatawu to Premier League club
First of all, Foxes of Leicester would like to allay City supporters' potential fears. I can't see Fatawu leaving for a host of reasons. His own comments about helping the club back to the glory of EPL football is a significant one to begin with.
"Besiktas are circling for Wilfred Ndidi, while Stephy Mavididi, Bilal El Khannouss and Abdul Fatawu could land a move back to top division football."
Though when we notice an article like the one being discussed today concerning the forward, we report on it and give our verdict. We don't wish to purvey nonsense, or realistic yet scary stories, regarding the King Power outfit. Sometimes we dismiss reports as well.
That being said, the suggestion about the Ghana international must be addressed as all other speculation. It is Southern Daily Echo who made the declaration that Fatawu's future is the uncertain. I would politely disagree.
While reporting on Ndidi is probably accurate, they may not be correct about El Khannouss and Mavididi. After trawling through LCFC news and rumour all summer (as usual) I haven't seen anything linking Fatawu with a transfer.
