On Saturday afternoon, Leicester City drew with Midlands rivals Coventry City in the English Football League Championship. The Foxes probably should have won the game: at least statistically and judging by opportunities created and missed. Not to mention the fan base's opinion on the King Power encounter. Unfortunately for the home side, they didn't take any of their lion's share of chances on the day.
And LCFC manager Marti Cifuentes certainly agreed with the faithful's ultimate verdict on the fixture. You can click here to read the Catalan's thoughts after drawing with Frank Lampard's Sky Blues. Consistency and potency are the order of the day, according to the former Queens Park Rangers head coach. I'm confident that introducing out-and-out striker Julian Carranza could potentially solve these issues.
Yet due to the absence of rather immature debutant Aaron Ramsey, Cifuentes was able to give a King Power Stadium debut to another promising loan signing. We have had our eye on Jordan James for a while here. He always seemed like a ready-made Fox; with City supporters enjoying what they saw after the hype and generally saying the same things.
Leicester City fans pick out potential star Jordan James and sort of make similar comments
During the Cov game at the weekend, I asked my dad for his thoughts on anything that took his attention. He said the following: "I like the look of Jordan James, he’s wanting to be involved, pushing forward and smooth."
Clearly he wasn't the only Leicester supporter who liked what he saw of the young Wales international. Below are more examples of like-minded verdicts, including a Coventry fan's, on the Stade Rennais loanee:
Should’ve scored but overall a good performance

From a Cov fan - he looked a decent! Good baller, should have scored to be fair.

I felt he had a nervous start but steadied himself and got in to the game. Going to play an important roll this season I’m sure.

What James stated after Coventry City performance
Following the final whistle as a stalemate was confirmed, James spoke to lcfc.com. The box-to-box midfielder declared he was "Disappointed with the point" against the visitors. You know that is exactly what people like me want to hear: spiritedness and resolve to be triumphant!:
"We’re disappointed with the point,” City’s new No.6 said. “We felt that we created the better chances… one for myself and we had a few others. As a performance, I think we played well. We are still building a foundation so, at times, you can see it clicking, you can see the patterns, but we are obviously disappointed with the point. We want to win every game and that’s what we play football for.
“In the second half, I have to score. I live on arriving late in the box, I’ve scored quite a few goals doing it, so not being able to do it there was annoying."
