The international break is a bit of a pain for some people. That sentiment especially applies to writers focusing on domestic football leagues; get your violin out for me if Jamie Vardy has any spare in Cremona! On the other hand, National Team matches also give us a chance to further gauge our own Leicester City personnel in other, testing environments.

In addition to that factor, manager Marti Cifuentes has a prolonged opportunity to get back to the Foxes drawing board regarding his starting lineup. As a matter of fact, the ex-Queens Park Rangers gaffer is actually on the verge of successfully assembling his (working, or current) best LCFC XI. Only two or three places in the King Power team appear to remain available.

The positions in question which are yet to be secured by Leicester players: No.8/No.10, left wing and striker. In doing so, Cifuentes will naturally have to drop and drastically disappoint a trio of City footballers. Such is footballing life! And the Blue Army fan base have had their say. Supporters are, on average, calling for these potentially enhancing changes to the side.

Leicester City fans want these three players to be dropped from the starting XI

First of all, Bobby De Cordova-Reid would have to be withdrawn from the lineup. Fans, as seen here, would prefer Burnley loanee Aaron Ramsey to be fielded from the beginning of games.

Secondly, Stephy Mavididi has come under the spotlight for a lack of productivity. The 27-year-old hasn't chipped in with any goals or assists this season; a concerning situation. Jeremy Monga must always start now; as we said months ago!

Finally, we have the solo centre forward role. Patson Daka has come in for the last two fixtures. And the Zambia international has done OK; at least improving on his Premier League form. Julian Carranza is the desired replacement.
