We are currently inundated with news and speculation concerning Leicester City Football Club. That fact is especially odd considering we are currently at the start of an international break from first and second division domestic football. Nevertheless, there is a lot for us to get through at the moment. So much so that we combined two stories at once to bring to your attention on Thursday. First of all, we talk about the real Mr Leicester: Jamie Vardy.
Foxes fans were obviously extremely sad that they were forced to wish their favourite ever player farewell over the summer. The LCFC faithful wanted Vards to remain a Fox forever, in some capacity or another. Nonetheless, I am absolutely positive that the retired England National Team representative will return as a coach or something in the future. He recently indicated as much himself!
Leicester fans have seemingly endured a bit of a comical, and often tongue in cheek, meltdown regarding the famous striker. Vardy moved to Cremonese in Italy's Serie A this week amid raucous fanfare. And his new la Tigri number was released - to the City support's shock on social media.
We also have another actually important update for the Blue Army fan base. This concerns information on Belgium international Wout Faes' prospective permanent transfer out of King Power Stadium.
Leicester City fans' Jamie Vardy number meltdown amidst Wout Faes transfer update
For some reason, la Cremo thought it appropriate to adorn the most No.9 ever with the No.10 shirt. They did so to the apparent chagrin of LCFC supporters:
"“Nooo Vardy is #9 lads what are you on?!!!” said @JackOsbFootball.EFL Analysis
@Aaron_Howells added: “Vardy 10 is scandalous.” @LCFC_Austin continued: “Games gone…”
@ScottyWoodall03 wrote: “I will never get used to seeing ‘Vardy 10’.”"
Meanwhile Faes is reportedly out of the Belgium squad simply to find a new club. It must be one that his uncouth National Side boss considers suitable.
According to this report, Leicester should actually be finding the defender a new outfit too. Certain transfer markets remain active, therefore an exit is a distinct possibility.
"Most notably, the Turkish Super Lig window still has nine days remaining before it closes on 12 September.EFL Analysis
The most likely Leicester player to depart is Wout Faes, with the Belgian not fancied by much of the support."
