As our informed readership will be aware, Leicester City Football Club had a game against Oxford United on Saturday lunchtime. The East Midlanders visited Oxfordshire for the early kick-off of the weekend's Championship schedule. City are often, or always, selected for televised matches. So the fan base must get used to watching their Foxes at awkward or uncommon times.

Anyway LCFC eventually drew 2-2 at Kassam Stadium on the day, luckily. I say the Leicestershire side were fortunate because of the rash and immature actions of Aaron Ramsey. The Burnley loanee was red cared only just after the halfway point - of the first half! Though the young attacking midfielder has enough talent and time to turn around his Leicester career after apologising. We should afford him another opportunity, however annoying his actions were.

Thankfully substitute and City captain Ricardo Pereira was able to come off the bench and score for the travelling Foxes. His finish was actually the equaliser for the 10-man visitors. Before Ricardo's heroics for the consecutive match, out of form and makeshift striker Jordan Ayew managed to net the first of his campaign. I didn't mean to slander Ayew with my introduction. I just believe it is now time for Julian Carranza to be introduced when appropriate. However, the Ghana international's goal makes that statement less impactful.

Meanwhile some members of the Blue Army are wondering why Ricardo doesn't begin fixtures. Fitness and precaution were cited by Marti Cifuentes. I don't think we'll be waiting long for the Portuguese to start.
