While we do not wish to worry Leicester City's Blue Army fan base, it is our place to detail and discuss every and all goings on at King Power Stadium. Whilst time remains to strengthen in the transfer market, all is quiet regarding recruitment on Filbert Way, sadly. Albeit City are included in some speculation about potential signings, yet nothing ever materialises. I must stop forgetting Asmir Begovic; I just don't consider that a bolstering addition whatsoever. Though a backup goalkeeper was, of course, needed.

A lack of loans and acquisitions aren't actually our main concern at present; just to agonise Foxes supporters further. That's because possibilities still, unfortunately, remain for LCFC to possibly and unwisely cash in on stars of the squad. Certain assets could still leave. In addition to that, premium players may well be up for sale. Up to four or five City starters might perhaps be sold. And reports state that the Leicestershire side's hierarchy have no plans in place to sign subsequent, hypothetical replacements. Let me just add, before we get into particulars, that I sincerely hope I'm wrong as that figurative and even unlikely scenario would make promotion next to impossible.

Leicester City may still sell a possible five further starters & sign no replacements whatsoever

As I say, Leicester are said to be interested in one or two inexpensive footballers, but this piece relates to prospective leavers. Not to mention claims, as detailed underneath, LCFC won't reinvest outgoing transfer proceeds.

"Leicester City are unlikely to spend much - if any - of the £30m banked in the past week, Football League World understands."

Meanwhile expectation, as well as hearsay, connects exciting or valuable Foxes with respective exits. And talk doesn't focus on City's fringe personnel - stars appear to be wanted and conceivably open to leaving.

The quintet that comes to mind consists of: Bilal El Khannouss, Abdul Fatawu, Stephy Mavididi, Harry Winks and James Justin. I have linked their names to pertinent stories.
