At the moment, only two things are keeping the Blue Army going, and sane. First of all, the excitement, optimism and boost of having a new manager in place - at last. Second of all, Leicester City's amazingly talented youth players and Foxes Academy products who are now entering first team proceedings.
One of them expected to make his first big impact this season and is a wanted man tipped for greatness. The East Midlands outfit must ensure that they endeavour to keep this 21-year-old, seemingly for as long as possible. He is forecasted to eventually play for the England National Side. Keeping him from Premier League big six club clutches is another issue to solve. Chelsea are already said to be 'sniffing 'round'.
Changes coming
Marti Cifuentes has arrived. He will now take over anything to do with the squad. That means some Foxes will be cut: expect a few sales, loans and possibly releases. The side will eventually reflect his ideology, whether he has much money to spend or otherwise.
Leicester City must keep Ben Nelson away from Chelsea's far-reaching and wealthy clutches
When it comes to making many, many signings, no club appears to come close to the Blues. They also reportedly make the highest profit from outgoing sales recouped as well; a merry-go-round of footballers of varying degree. The West Londoners have apparently been after a City defender who has big things likely coming in his career.
"Chelsea ‘interested’ in Leicester City defender Ben Nelson"Oxford Mail
For a couple of months here at Foxes of Leicester, we have predicted Nelson's probable inclusion for the coming campaign. City's financial troubles coupled with his seeming quality almost automatically assure his selection, don't they?
"There is genuinely just one player I think the club can't afford to sell this summer, and that's Ben Nelson," Louchlainn told FLW. "He's such a promising player and I think he's going to play for England in the future, I genuinely do."FLW
Well, that's if we can keep hold of the one-time Oxford United, Doncaster Rovers and Rochdale loanee. Of course it is Enzo Maresca, the ex-City boss, ostensibly leading the charge for Nelson. Another supposed fact which alludes to the former's ability and promise.
