Uncertainty
In spite of observers, pundits and supporters correctly suggesting Leicester City have started well and could be promotion or title-winning candidates - everyone remains in the dark. This may be an uncertain and negatively preoccupying season for the Blue Army. While latest LCFC head coach Marti Cifuentes has started confidently and well overall on the pitch - we actually don't know anything of the King Power club's true promotion chances as of yet! The East Midlands outfit's opportunity to return to the Premier League will ultimately and ambiguously hang in the balance, potentially for months.
Irrespective of what the Leicestershire side does on the field of play, they are mired in a form of variability. Until this likely telling factor is revealed, City bosses, staff and their fan base will be none the wiser. But why the unpredictability and precariousness? Do we think Leicester will triumph in the English second division again? Or will they snatch the second automatic place or prevail in the Playoffs at Wembley? Let's have a look.
Keep winning
If Cifuentes' squad has legitimately been strengthened in the transfer market, he will probably succeed in City's task of EPL advancement. If the XI continue to win (three league victories in four so far), nothing else really matters, even if penalties occur.
Leicester City's promotion chances are hanging in the balance until threatened points deduction emerges or not
But if LCFC are hovering around the Playoff places or lower, the potential withdrawal of points might perhaps be crucial. If the Foxes are to be punished by the Football League, Foxes of Leicester would rather know now and have the penalty to deal with.
"Leicester City have ‘no indication’ about when they will find out if they are hit with a points deduction for allegedly breaching PSR rules."FLW
Hopefully the nescient and unprepared feeling doesn't transfer to the team. That's because the fear could creep into play. Just keep winning, Leicester!
