There are quite a few standout stars among the Leicester City squad at present. And that is a pleasant surprise considering that the Foxes' fan base wasn't sure what the landscape of the roster would be like for the season, especially as September came around. Yet LCFC did make eleventh hour signings; the additions actually appear fairly ideal at this stage.

One of the outfield loanees to arrive at King Power Stadium is already standing out and making his name as a top Fox. If City are not planning to take up Stade Rennais' reported option to buy for Jordan James (said to be £5million), then the board might as well completely give up! That prospective deal is the epitome of a complete and utter 'no-brainer'.

Elsewhere, certain similarly outstanding LCFC ballers have picked up where they left off in the Championship. Yes, I'm thinking of the composed Harry Winks and the dazzling Abdul Fatawu in that respect. Winks is a smooth operator; arguably too skilled for the English Football Leagues. Meanwhile Fatawu has made many Championship defenders look silly before now; his goals are special.

And it is Fatawu, whom I labelled Leicester's soon-to-be superstar, who was cited as one of the best three players in the division. That assessment was made amid the East Midlanders potentially enjoying a campaign game-changer. What's the score here?

Notable former footballer in the league, Adrian Clarke, picked out the thrilling Ghana international for praise this week. Clarke believes Fatawu is amongst the pinnacle of what the C'ship has to offer

"Fatawu, for me is in the top three players in the Championship, has to be. Such a talent... I think the 3-1 win at Swansea – they have to view that as a game-changer because it was a much better performance, much more dangerous"

Fatawu possesses the ability to win games by himself. Therefore the 21-year-old is probably the overall superior talent, in my view.

Clarke spoke of the Leicestershire team in general as well. He believes the Swansea City victory may be a catalyst for Leicester's eventual Premier League ascension.
