We are taking a look at the current status of the Leicester City squad right now. That's because the Foxes have an important match this weekend. West Midlanders Coventry City travel to the East Midlands to face the rival club. The match is widely known by competitors and supporters as the 'M69 derby'.
But before the Championship clash, we want to bring LCFC injury updates and suspension news to the Blue Army fan base's attention. A round-up of sorts, if you will. And while we have plenty of good news for you, a potentially vital Fox is also about to miss three outings.
Why is the young star out? Can City cope without him? And which other of Leicester head coach Marti Cifuentes' roster are unavailable?
Positive Leicester City injury update
It has been noted that Cifuentes has a bloated squad. 31 players to choose from is totally unnecessary and a waste of talent and wages in my estimations. But that discussion is really for another time.
The King Power Stadium plays host to Leicester versus Coventry on Saturday lunchtime, again. This will be a nervy meeting for the two sets of supporters; I'm betting that the contest will be entertaining for neutrals too.
LCFC only have a trio of players out at the moment, which is a boost. Victor Kristiansen provides another uplift; he is now back training. Louis Page returns as well.
Ben Nelson travelled to Oxford United with the side yet wasn't needed for matchday. Meanwhile new goalkeeper Fran Vieites is nearing fitness and will assume the No.2 spot soon.
Suspension news as Fox to miss three games
It's bad news for Aaron Ramsey. The debutant was dismissed at Oxford and will now serve a ban. He is out of contention for three successive domestic games. I'm sure Ramsey will eventually prove his worth; cover is available.
