Wowed Arsenal supporters have graciously shown their footballing respect and appreciation in vast numbers for one particular Leicester City star. The Gunners are such an incredible team that not many Foxes fans expected to get anything at all even remotely positive from the game, let alone a win or a draw. And, although the three points were taken in the end by the North London outfit, Steve Cooper's LCFC made it very difficult for their title-seeking opponents on the day.

The Fox in question, goalkeeper Mads Hermansen, must be given huge credit for massively helping to keep the east Midlands club in the match for so long. The Denmark international made some terrific, almost mind-boggling saves at some stages of the fixture. Nevertheless AFC found a way to defeat a gallant Leicester at Emirates Stadium, as Mikel Arteta sides often do. But what did the home support specifically say about Hermansen after the final whistle? Let's have a look at some of the saves as well.

Arsenal score late double to sink Leicester City after very brave second half from away players, not to mention specific heroics from stopper Mads Hermansen

Leicester followers watching the clash with Arsenal would have been forgiven for being worried that the contest was over at half-time. And, ultimately at 2-0 it was becase the latter did eventually see victory at 4-2. Though the visitors were effectively a different side when they came back out for the final 45 minutes.

In fact, LCFC battled to 2-2; fast full back James Justin scored a brace, including one electrifying finish, to level proceedings. Consequently the Gunners had to get creative to gain victory. The typically awe-inspiring English capital team were not quite at their usual lofty height.

However, this effort and near-miss is a plus for a struggling Leicester under Cooper. There are glimmers of class and hope, with a seemingly determined manager. But results have to come soon or it's all for nothing.

Here is what some of the Gunners fan base thought of the flying and occasionally impenetrable Dane

In the meantime, it is fair to say that Hermansen had the game of his life in the LCFC net. I must admit that I watched the 90 and he was a shot-stopping supremo. Yet his footwork and distribution choices can still be improved, in spite of already exhibiting much quality.

This is what Arsenal fans made of Mads:

True that!
