Providing a gateway behind closed doors, Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen has addressed what the dressing room is like under Steve Cooper.
Mads Hermansen only signed for Leicester City last summer. However, he has already become a staple in the Foxes setup, even earning himself comparisons to club legend Kasper Schmeichel.
Admittedly, many of those comparisons do correlate with the shared Danish heritage. However, Hermansen is showing every sign that he can become a goalkeeper within Schmeichel's calibre.
Hermansen was key to Leicester being promoted last season. Now in the Premier League, he continues to be a first team starter under new manager Steve Cooper.
Speaking of, Mads Hermansen has recently addressed what the Leicester dressing room is like under Steve Cooper.

Despite the poor run of results and Leicester failing to win a Premier League this season, Mads Hermansen insists the dressing room is positive. In fact, he is optimistic that things will turn around.
In an interview with i news, Mads Hermansen said: “We’re working hard in the right direction. It always takes time to change your style of play a little bit and you need everybody on board for that. And I think the mood in general is positive, we’ve been competitive in all five games."
Hermansen continues: “I know we only have three points, but I think we’ve been competitive. So we’ve just got to keep on going.”
Despite picking up just three points on the board, the Leicester City players are not under fire. In fact, it is more Steve Cooper whose authority is questioned by the Foxes fanbase.
The controversial manager call to one side, it's good to see that at a young age, Mads Hermansen is stepping up and providing a counter narrative. After all, there aren't many bad outcomes which can occur from the players thinking positively.
It is easy, particularly on social media, for Leicester fans to get sucked into a pit of despair and thinking that the world is against them. Understandably, it's hard to see a positive end to Steve Cooper being in charge when trapped in an echo chamber.
However, as outlined by Mads Hermansen (among others), it takes time for players to adapt to a new style. Last season was great under Enzo Maresca, but Leicester are a new side under Cooper.
Hopefully, the results will start to show the confidence and belief which Hermansen addresses.
