Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has, happily for the Blue Army, ruled out a potentially worrying, hypothetical Leicester City exit. When the Italian speaks on the game's movements - he is very rarely incorrect. So, according to Romano, which possible Foxes leaver is not at threat of being targeted by one big six Premier League club soon? If this star of the Leicestershire team did in fact depart in the upcoming January window, it would cause Steve Cooper more dangerous problems than he already has on his hands at King Power Stadium.

Elsewhere in the City sphere, a sometimes struggling LCFC defender with potential has vowed to improve his performances in a blue shirt. The 23-year-old is conscious of of his supposedly 'high football ceiling', although the City faithful are yet to see the prospect flourish even after some starts. What did centre back Caleb Okoli say about his efforts so far? And is it realistic that the Italian can eventually give better showings in a demanding division such as the English top-flight?

Caleb Okoli can certainly ameliorate his input to the Leicester City side yet he might perhaps not have the ability for EPL staying power

Okoli has something about him, from the little I've seen. Grit, determination and toughness in the odd tackle, at least. Though those components are inadequate when considering just what an EPL centre half requires to help execute a tight defence.

The former Frosinone man looks slightly rigid and overwhelmed in the Foxes back line at times. Confidence may, hopefully, come with an eventual run of superior exhibitions of his skill set. But, as a realist, I am fully aware that this ideal eventuality for the east Midlands outfit could be an unrealised wish for Okoli and Leicester's support.

Okoli knows he hasn't quite shown the best of himself at this stage. Succeeding in the EPL must be a mammoth task for any footballer. Therefore it is understandable that some players take a while to acclimatise; we've even witnessed that with superstar ballers before.

"I know I have a lot of potential and I am working every day thinking about it; trying to improve my skills, my ability every day."

Fabrizio Romano rubbishes concerning possible new year Leicester City exit for Mads Hermansen

Hermansen won himself a vast amount of new fans following ridiculously good shot-stopping endeavours against Premier League title-hopefuls Arsenal. The Dane was wholly impressive at Emirates Stadium after an almost herculean exertion. Hence it is no surprise that the Leicester faithful are concerned about Hermansen's LCFC status:

"Chelsea will not sign goalkeepers in January according to their current plan, so the information concerning Enzo Maresca moving for his Leicester keeper, Mads Hermansen, is false. "
