Leicester City have made a very fan-pleasing signing at the start of this week. Winger Abdul Fatawu is looking forward to getting started in the Premier League as an official Fox.

Meanwhile a news report claims that the east Midlands team are currently leading the chase for another important addition. This time the King Power club are turning to Scotland and their Premiership division for a midfield star. Will LCFC purchase Matt O’Riley as well?

And some suggestions state that City are potentially close to a separate fifth transfer of the 2024 offseason. Is Juventus up-and-comer Matias Soule on his way to Leicestershire this summer?

Matt O’Riley latest

It has been widely reported that Leicester are in "pole position" to sign Celtic star Matt O’Riley. The Denmark-capped player has been linked with a switch to England for a while now. LCFC has held a supposed interest in the definite talent for at least a year, if we believe stories coming from football media.

On Monday, Foxes of Leicester gave some thoughts on the 23-year-old. A replacement for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is desperately required on Filbert Way. Could O’Riley be that man? I think there is hope.

Regardless of press speculation, O’Riley travelled with his Hoops teammates ready for their tour of the United States. The Scottish outfit play Chelsea whilst in America, among other sides.

According to a claim on Tuesday morning, the SPL champions have received a "second bid" from another potential suitor, Atalanta of Serie A. We shall see what happens there.

Abdul Fatawu permanently signs with Leicester City

The Blue Army seemed very content to hear the news that Fatawu had made his stay at the King Power permanent. After Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Michael Golding and Caleb Okoli, the Ghanaian is technically the fourth player to join during preseason. The real test for the 20-year-old begins soon: the English top-flight - the best league in the world!

Matias Soule chase

In spite of recent rumours declaring Steve Cooper might miss out on Soule - the pursuit remains on. That is if the latest assertions are correct. The Juventus forward would likely be an exceptional acquisition if the Foxes recruitment department can get an agreement over the line.

Fresh reports emanating from Italy essentially say LCFC's admiration of the Argentine is more credible than that of others. Roma are the Italian club that were purportedly going to steal the prospect from Leicester. Yet, apparently, the chase remains on.
