On Friday, November 14, the chairman of Leicester City Football Club finally publicly acknowledged the outfit's mistakes and his own. That statement and admission was a long time coming; I mean, ages. As a matter of fact, just that morning I considered writing a new piece on the lack of communication coming from King Power Stadium to loyal supporters over the previous three or four years specifically.
Therefore I would argue that 'Khun Top' (chair Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha) made his comments in the absolute nick of time, as we say here in England! The atmosphere on Filbert Way and from members of the Foxes fan base around the world is turning toxic. One small section of the support (a minority of away spectators who chose to chant xenophobia and death threats) is already emitting toxicity!
Top is a bright guy, so he knows the score. The 40-year-old is far from ignorant: he was formerly educated at the St. Gabriel School and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. What he can be accused of is being aloof, uncommunicative and otherwise engaged at times. Nevertheless, we do now truly know that he cares about LCFC and his great father's legacy.
Although Top used the recent pandemic as an excuse for not informing the Blue Army of major matters at KPS. Fair enough, the outbreak did indeed incredibly affected his Duty-Free business in Asia. Though the situation is irrelevant to communication. Yet I actually believe Covid to be the main reason for Profit and Sustainability problems and the severe lack of satisfactory investment in the City squad. That's my view, but what did the Leicester faithful make of the 'interview'?
Angry Leicester City supporters still active following chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha assurances
There are City fans who feel placated after the 'speech'. However, and to the contrary, others are skeptical or disillusioned with The King Power International Group:
It’s all a smoke screen, action speaks louder than words, only time will tell but I’m not confident at all in 45 years of following the club. Selling the club seems the best route as he has destroyed his Dads legacy at the club pic.twitter.com/XLUkLdAoqG

I’ve lost interest in what Top has to say now, far too late to come out with this statement now & only has done since the inexcusable chanting at Rudkin & him last week. He needs to sell asap & take Rudkin off with him to continue King Power elsewhere. Fans won’t back him easily

I didn’t hear him say he was selling the club
