One of the prospective new managers at Leicester City has shot up the bookmakers' rankings over the weekend. The word is that the former Premier League boss of Sheffield United has been talking with members of LCFC's board about taking over. However, the Foxes hierarchy are yet to make a decision; it appears that this is an interview process.
That's because another very well-known and experienced head coach has also ostensibly held discussions with King Power representatives about taking charge of the Leicestershire side. Two other unnamed bosses are also on the shortlist, it is claimed. But according to a report, these are the duo Leicester have interviewed for the top job on Filbert Way. And the information comes from a top source!
No kit, no manager, no signings, no sales, no communication - what's up with LCFC?!
Leicester's Blue Army fan base would love to hear that everything is under control. Though, maybe we haven't been reassured due to the powers-that-be knowing how perilous a situation they have led the club into.
However, if the financial problems are not as bad as first realised, and a managerial appointments is forthcoming - things wouldn't seem as unfortunate. Though the next worry will be enticing decent players with a points deduction looming.
These are the two people Leicester City have interviewed for the manager role suggests trusted source for Foxes news
Sky Sports' Rob Dorsett has been speaking on the Foxes. I suppose we can label his suggestions as good news. City are possibly moving in the right direction anyway.
Chris Wilder and Sean Dyche among numerous candidates #lcfc have interviewed in last few days. #swfc Danny Rohl also serious contender but more complicated to get him. Two other unnamed candidates too, but Leicester hope to identify a preferred candidate this week.

Chris Wilder, who was previously with the Blades, is under consideration at LCFC following an apparent meeting with the board. So too is Sean Dyche, the one-time Burnley and Everton gaffer. Dorsett considers Danny Rohl a less likely installation. At least something now feels imminent!
