This comes down to the significant transfer fee he would command at a time when Leicester's owners have grown reluctant to pay substantial sums for players following the collapse of the Srivaddhanaprabha family's monopoly on the Thai duty-free industry.
Some supporters have put forward unproven claims that Srivaddhanaprabha may be looking to withdraw funds from LCFC to stabilise his wider business interests across Asia. Whatever the truth of these assertions, the Srivaddhanaprabhas must act with pragmatism if they wish to calm growing suspicion and anger among the fan base.

He was first associated with the Foxes around a month or so ago; this interest has now been restated or confirmed by a trusted In The Know account specialising in City revelations and insights.
