Leicester City's Blue Army fanbase would love nothing more than Vardy to return next season. Well, maybe one factor would be equally as important: Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha selling LCFC!

The majority of City fans now appear to be 'King Power Out', as it were. And rightly so! The so-called 'idiot son' has taken the once-proud East Midlands outfit dowm to the doldrums.

The worst chairman operating in English football? Khun Top, as he is widely known, is certainly giving other terrible owners a run for their money.

A hero's return to Leicester City?

The atmospheric stagnation at King Power Stadium was momentarily pierced during the recent Swansea City disaster, not by the tepid display on the pitch, but by the sight of an immortal figure in the stands. Seeing the iconic Jamie Vardy in attendance ignited a visceral longing, a desperate yearning for a Vardy comeback or, in the fever dreams of the disillusioned, the former England international seizing the reigns of the club entirely.

While the prospect of a Vardy-led takeover is likely a romantic impossibility (even should a Gary Lineker consortium materialise from the ether) the sentiment underscores a profound fracture between the terraces and the boardroom. The Srivaddhanaprabha legacy, once gilded in the stardust of 2016-2021, has curdled into a cautionary tale of neglect and administrative decay.

Would Jamie Vardy come back to the Foxes?

As the club drifts toward the abyss of mediocrity, the phantom of JV9's clinical prowess serves as a painful reminder of what was once achievable under competent stewardship. Yet, amidst this grim landscape, hope remains a stubborn thing.

Vardy deciding to be a Fox for one more campaign of salvation isn't totally out of the question, providing the solitary flicker of light in an otherwise suffocating darkness. One last dance for the talisman might just be the only medicine for a club currently rotting from the head down. Though the word on the street is that the Vardys wouldn't revert whilst Jon Rudkin remains on Filbert Way.
