Join us is watching Leicester City starlet Jeremy Monga's brilliantly taken, as well as dual record-breaking, goal against Preston North End on Saturday afternoon. The Foxes were defeated by the Lilywhites this weekend, though it's not all doom and gloom for the East Midlands outfit. We will explain the possible impact of Monga's finish, as well as the actual effects after he hit the back of the net. And was there anything else we should know about the disappointing but not necessarily detailing LCFC loss to Preston? Let's see.
Foxes team and manager must learn from fixtures like these yet problems run deeper and are unfortunately ingrained
As I previously mentioned, we do have some positives at King Power Stadium at present. Not that many to mention off the top of my head though, unfortunately!
Nevertheless, City are in a better place at the moment than they were a short while back, albeit in a lower league. Although the Foxes, as an organisation if not a squad, do require changes.
Boss Marti Cifuentes won't be able to achieve his and the club's aim unless certain criteria is met. For example, if other star players such as Abdul Fatawu and Bilal El Khannouss are sold, as is forecasted in the media, City will require replacements.
If suitable successors or general enhancing signings don't materialise, I think the Leicestershire side's issue will mount and multiply. Promotion, especially automatic, would feel unlikely without any additions.

Obviously one major talking point and plus point for LCFC is the amazing procession of academy products they have produced. And Monga certainly leads in that respect. The 16-year-old scored a beauty at Deepdale Stadium as LCFC lost.

Sadly the game got away from City. But you can tell from the winger's execution above that his future is bright as can be.
