Join us in commiserating over Leicester City's unpredicted loss to Huddersfield Town on Wednesday evening by watching two superbly taken goals. We have a somewhat expert and deft dispatch from former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks. His finish was actually the equaliser after a worldie of sorts from Hamza Choudhury. The versatile Fox's stunner against the Terriers is certainly worth a look for the Blue Army, even more so than Winks' moment. A rather muted celebration was a particularly interesting talking point for City supporters too. Unfortunately LCFC were dumped out of the English Football League Cup unceremoniously by Huddersfield in only the First Round. Here's our take.

Harry Winks' Leicester City goal versus Huddersfield Town

Following the timely and necessary Winks cameo against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, Foxes of Leicester surprisingly didn't really expect him to start in the HTFC clash. That's because the midfield tempo controller is likely to be in the XI versus Preston North End on Saturday.

Clearly Foxes manager Marti Cifuentes didn't value the Carabao Cup too much judging by the way he heavily rotated the starting lineup. Though the introduction of Winks to the Huddersfield contest was as important as that of the Owls fixture. I am not surprised that Winks is wanted; his wages and proximity to Seagrave were always my chief concerns.

You can see the 29-year-old's clinical effort for yourselves below:

Claims say Choudhury is additionally wanted by one or two clubs. Wrexham were recently designated as admires of the multifaceted midfielder/defender. He must be kept if James Justin eventually leaves for Leeds United or Everton.

Again, underneath this paragraph is Choudhury's blast from the blue. The ball sits up beautifully for any player to strike, although you wouldn't typically expect the Bangladesh international to hit such a peach! Even the gaffer probably shouted 'don't hit it'!
