Everyone and their dog knows that Jamie Vardy is the most famous, infamous and triumphant player in Leicester City Football Club's history. Unfortunately, at the start of the previous summer, the East Midlands team had to wave goodbye to the former England international. Not to mention saying see ya later to his influential play and, of course, the goals.
The farewell was not easy or without tears for many among the Foxes' Blue Army support. And, let's face it, City have struggled to replace the famed striker. As a matter of fact, Leicester's top goal scorer this season has a mere three to his name. Though the man to hit the back of the net on the most occasions this season is actually a winger: Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.
While replacing the irreplaceable and irrepressible was a task of improbable proportions, the LCFC fans could have expected superior and further innovative recruitment than we have had to suffer through. So, whilst the City supporters are longing for Vards, his finishing and his helpful yet lairy ways, we have news as well as nostalgia for them. Here you can watch the No.10's first Cremonese goal in Serie A. The backflip celebration has also returned to the Vardy circus!
Leicester City icon Jamie Vardy nets for new side Cremonese
The Gray and Reds played Atalanta on Saturday, October 25. The league match ended in parity at Vards' new home, Stadio Giovanni Zini.
Yet the 38-year-old managed to open the scoring for Cremo with as good a tap-in as you're likely to see. In true Vardy fashion, the ageing but still youthful centre forward celebrated acrobatically, as you can see below.

Cremonese now sit 11th in the Serie A table. Vardy opening his account will be like a breath of fresh air for his head coach, Davide Nicola.
