The premier media source for Leicester City Football Club, if you ask me, has given a huge update on the Foxes. The Blue Army fan base are collectively worried about the state of affairs on Filbert Way. Not to mention supporters' concerns over Profit and Sustainability and the finances of the ownership. However, having an actual permanent and hopefully suitable head coach appointed at King Power Stadium would ease fans' pain, suffering and the dreaded unknown. We really do deserve better!
So, judging from the top journalist's post on X earlier, we now know the approximate and imminent time when LCFC hope to hire their latest manager. Two or three men have been interviewed by the Foxes hierarchy, it is claimed. While another prospectively new Leicester gaffer has been ruled out. Meanwhile a remaining man may perhaps be more difficult to attract or prise away to fill the position.
But which ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers boss supposedly had a sit down with the King Power team's chairman Aiyawatt 'Khun Top' Srivaddhanaprabha and director of football Jon Rudkin?
When Leicester City hope to appoint their next manager
The Telegraph's John Percy has spoken about the Foxes today (Monday, July 7). And we really needed the trusted writer to let us know what on earth is going on at the King Power!
First of all, EFL Analysis have made a report on apparent proceedings. They allege that England Under-21s gaffer Lee Carsley was never a Leicester candidate. In addition to that, Percy believes an appointment is actually expected this week.

#lcfc are moving closer to appointing a new head coach. Gary O'Neil and Chris Wilder are both on the shortlist after interviews last week in London with 'Top' & Rudkin. Other candidates have been spoken to and Leicester hope to appoint later this week

Percy has now also confirmed that Chris Wilder and Gary O'Neil are contenders. The pair met with Top and Rudkin in London (for some reason) last week. They will have discussed their prospective plans and credentials to assume the LCFC helm.
