Leicester City will have to sell some more players this summer in order to satisfy Profit and Sustainability requirements. Not to mention the Foxes' wage bill being incompatible with the Championship, England's second division. In addition to outgoings, City will require a few recruits to fill soon-to-be vacant squad positions. However, the King Power outfit were not able to secure a couple of desired signings for the team.

The contemporary Foxes ownership were never able to attract the best of the best to the King Power. Neither were their predecessors. However, exemplary scouting and analysis enabled Leicester to sign one or two exceedingly talented footballers who went under the radar.

In addition to those prospects, a legendary veteran or two came to the club. But right now, we are going to have to rely on no frills and cut-price options. Thankfully City's development of youngsters is seemingly second to none at present. I'm sure the next manager, probably Marti Cifuentes, will utilise that area as Ruud van Nistelrooy did.
