Leicester City suffer together, enjoy together

Following the game, the Leicester City players and staff went over to fans to celebrate the conquest, in the name of Khun Vichai, chanting in unison. Another moving moment unfolded, in this affecting seven days for all involved; not to mention those loyal Foxes fans. Puel then added:

"“I think we share this emotion. A lot of staff [and] players cried, fans also. After the game it was a good thing, this result, it’s fantastic to honour our Chairman and together to share in our grief. “It’s important now to continue. When we saw all the images of the flowers around the stadium, it’s fantastic. These tributes show the kindness, the warmth of the owner, and he liked to share a lot of things. “He was close to everyone and it’s a good feeling to start this tribute with a win, of course.”"

Echoing hundreds of other people to come into contact with Khun Vichai, the 57-year-old spoke fondly and highly of his former boss, ‘the boss’, who’ll be sadly missed by all. Upon return from Bangkok, the squad is likely to head home for a day’s rest; then it will be back to training and match preparation.
