Leicester and AC Milan prepare to fight for transfer target

Leicester City are definitely looking to sign some attackers during the summer transfer window. Celtic centre-back Kristoffer Ajer is also a target.

It’s been a particularly frustrating start back for Leicester City players, staff and, of course, the loyal fan base. I don’t think you can easily fault the overall general effort of the team.

Though some individuals such as Ben Chilwell and even Wilfred Ndidi have let themselves down, with respect to diligent marking. For a defensive-minded man to stop, or to stop as well as put their hands up is Sunday league immaturity. Certainly not Premier League prudence. Regardless of if you have 10 men to mark – you keep going and moan afterwards.

But it is the results which are naturally the most worrying Foxes factor since returning from the lockdown and football’s suspension. Restarting was never going to be easy; some clubs were always going to do well and some struggle. As previously stated, the Foxes are in the market for signings, specifically forward-thinking ones. However, the King Power side has long admired Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer, according to multiple reports. Now it seems they will have to fight with a giant to secure their prospect.

AC Milan of Serie A, Italy’s top division, are apparently monitoring the Norwegian international, too. This will be unsettling news for Foxes supporters who want to see Ajer join, as Milan are a quality outfit.
