PSG seriously interested in Leicester star
The latest transfer rumour claims Paris Saint-Germain have joined Barcelona in tracking Leicester City centre-back Caglar Soyuncu.
Foxes of Leicester are entirely unsurprised that Turkish star, Caglar Soyuncu, is receiving apparent flattering interest from some of the globe’s footballing superpowers. Soyuncu was so good for Leicester City in 2019/20, especially after being thrown into the Premier League lions’ den. Not to mention having Harry Maguire’s particularly big shoes to fill.
However, the Foxes centre-back showed his prowess from match one as he demolished attacks, read opponents naturally, glided past them with ease and generally marshaled from the back with diligence and superiority.
Those elements are all things that Spanish giants Barcelona look for in a defender; they really need some quality leadership and displays to match in defence immediately at Camp Nou. In fact, the Turk has been linked with a move to Barca who are credited with monitoring the player by multiple outlets.

In addition to the Blaugrana supposedly admiring or even planning a swoop for Soyuncu, it is now speculated that French trailblazers Paris Saint-Germain also fancy their chances of landing the combative athlete.
Sport Witness carries a story suggesting PSG are the most “seriously interested” in a transfer for the 24-year-old. The King Power side are thought to value their asset at around €60 million. But FoL believes it’ll take a higher bid to secure his services.
While the hearsay is deserved – regardless of whether Soyuncu’s agent began the rumours or not – the Turkey international won’t have done himself any favours with his immature dismissal against Bournemouth. Although his apology was seemingly sincere.
