With the Championship transfer window deadline approaching fast, it is likely that at least three Leicester City first team players will go out on loan.

The Premier League transfer window shut last week, but Championship opportunities are still very much available. Well, until Friday October 16, anyway. Making the rumour news at the moment are several players linked with a move into and out of Leicester City Football Club.

To Leicester City?

Apparently the Foxes are still interested in Bournemouth and Wales winger David Brooks. Though Brendan Rodgers‘ Recruitment department face competition for the wideman from multiple English top-flight sides: Manchester United, Liverpool, Everton, along with Tottenham Hotspur.

Joe Rodon is another second division man that Leicester are said to be monitoring. Yet the Swansea defender is wanted by Spurs, who are reportedly lining up a £15 million deal.

Leaving the Foxes?

Many Development squad personnel are already loaned out, with more experience expected for existing players. Current loanees include: Mitch Clark, Sam Hughes, Rachid Ghezzal, Kamal Sowah, Darnell Johnson, Daniel Iversen, Josh Eppiah, Josh Knight and George Hirst.

There is now speculation that Blackburn Rovers are keen on signing young Leicester left-back Luke Thomas. Thomas surely wouldn’t be allowed to leave permanently, after showing some adept play in 2019/20.

Meanwhile Rodgers is said to be considering Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s immidiate future: whether or not the midfielder should stay as back-up for the injured Wilfred Ndidi, or also seek a temporary switch.

Matty James and Filip Benkovic are the final pair mentioned as possibly leaving for a short time.
