Leicester City prospect Sidnei Tavares has proclaimed himself a special talent. While interest in another player delights the potential Fox.

At the time of writing – late Saturday afternoon – the Leicester squad and the first team staff will be in Brighton having a final meal and a rest before traveling to American Express Stadium for the clash with the Seagulls.

Brighton & Hove Albion are a mainstay in the Premier League now, after astute managerial work from several managers. Culminating in the appointment of pragmatist and embracer of modern footballing philosophy and youth, Graham Potter.

Those elements are not the only similarity between Potter and his opposite number, Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers. Both men are mildly spoken, measured and seem to be elevating their respective profiles ahead of what is sure to be another ‘score draw’.

"“I like to show people that I am not just any player, that I am special. I want to be that player that the others look at and say: ‘I would like to have this player on my team.’“In my opinion, that is the main reason for me to be in the first team. I like to show myself and I like to be what I am: different.”– Sidnei TavaresVia Leicestershire Live"
