Leicester City played their last friendly on Sunday afternoon. Fiorentina were the visitors to King Power Stadium for Marti Cifuentes' maiden match at King Power Stadium. And the game ended in victory for the Foxes, not to mention a clean sheet for the defence. Five wins from six fixtures is just what the squad needed in preseason before the Championship start after a gruelling Premier League season. But which LCFC stars were losers in the player ratings? And, lastly, which City ballers were crowned winners in the final Foxes friendly against Viola?

Sheffield Wednesday clash under threat

Leicester are set to play Wednesday this weekend as tier two kicks off. Yet the Owls roster were reportedly paid late over the previous two months. Now it is said by the media that their wages are missing again in August.

This is obviously a massive problem for the cash-strapped outfit who make contemporary LCFC bosses seem fairly cohesive. The SWFC professionals have, however, 'urged' their club to honour the Foxes visit. Nevertheless, the meeting is ostensibly at risk of postponement.

First of all, Leicester Mercury anointed Abdul Fatawu as Player of the Match. The Ghanaian winger was back to his best as he continues to build up fitness.

"Abdul Fatawu: Outstanding. With speed, control and oodles of confidence, he flew down the wing and made his full-back look foolish. His defensive intensity helped him set up the first goal, while his raw pace and skill saw him score a stupendous second. 9"

Caleb Okoli was cited as the standout defender. While his centre back partner Jannik Vestergaard was given the lowest score of five in that department.

Boubakary Soumare was labelled as the worst performing midfielder. Oliver Skipp actually purportedly stood out for positive reasons.

Goalscorer Jordan Ayew received an 'iffy' review. Substitutes such as Jeremy Monga and Kasey McAteer were mostly given sixes.

Although up-and-coming centre half Ben Nelson only scored five for his appearance. Bade Aluko and Louis Page weren't given scores.
