On Saturday afternoon, Leicester City Football Club play host to fairly local rival Coventry City. The Sky Blues are a definite threat to the Foxes' pursuit of yet another tier two crown. The visitors are probably going to be the greatest menace to the East Midlanders so far. The West Midlands side look very competent under astute and well-spoken former Chelsea star, Frank Lampard.
Within this very article we briefly run through LCFC team news, along with explaining the suspension sustained versus Oxford United last weekend. Not to mention how Marti Cifuentes should and probably will deal with the situation and how the absence impacts LCFC. Then, of course, we predict the possible Leicester starting lineup for the Coventry clash. Indeed, what supporters want might well be different to what they end up receiving! What's the score?
Leicester City injuries and suspensions
You'll all know that Burnley loanee Aaron Ramsey was sent off in his first appearance for the Leicestershire team. Bad times! So he's out for three crucial games; he's also made people like myself who said he'd be a decent signing look rather silly. Oh well.
Victor Kristiansen is a doubt. Though he wouldn't supplant Luke Thomas if he were fit. Midfielder Louis Page is said to be available; he is a perfect replacement for Ramsey at No.10.
I would love Jeremy Monga to be fielded in the role though. Yet that is probably wishful thinking. Bobby De Cordova-Reid is apparently back too. Ben Nelson and Fran Vieites are presumed respectively in contention.
I would start Julian Carranza; Jordan Ayew isn't a world-beating option. Ricardo Pereira over Hamza Choudhury is one of my other preferences.
Predicted Foxes XI for Coventry City match
Below is the side Cifuentes will plausibly select:
Stolarczyk; Thomas, Okoli, Vestergaard, Choudhury; Winks, Skipp; Page; Fatawu, Mavididi; Ayew.
