Brendan Rodgers’ pre-Manchester United press conference has concluded. The Leicester City boss gave an injury update on his Foxes squad.

If you’re a regular reader at Foxes of Leicester, I won’t have to give you the explanation again on how momentous the occasion is on Sunday. The clash for Champions League between Leicester City and Manchester United is only a couple of days away now. Excitement along with information is rapidly building.

Two places and one point separate the two clubs vying for the utmost prestige in European competition next campaign. In fact, goal difference being equal further intertwines the comparative nature of both entities.

Although, that factor doesn’t affect the outcome of this weekend’s crucial contest, as United drew with West Ham at Old Trafford. Therefore a draw naturally ensures Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s outfit CL football in 2020/21.

Leicester City manager talks injuries

During Brendan Rodgers‘ pre-Man U press conference, he offered the usual details on squad feeling. Not to mention his opinions on a range of other subjects. Rodgers also confirmed that there are no new problems in the team.

Most importantly, thought, which of his currently unavailable personnel could represent the East Midlanders on Sunday? Caglar Soyuncu is obviously still suspended; and James Maddison, Ben Chilwell, Ricardo Pereira and Christian Fuchs are sidelined until next season. While Marc Albrighton might be back for Man United.
