With freshly promoted Leeds United and EPL outfit Brighton & Hove Albion apparently in contention to sign Gerard Deulofeu from Watford, Leicester City should steal him.

Leicester City’s search for a winger continues, with the latest possible development Foxes of Leicester can discuss – it’s a tentative, we know – is that of Said Benrahma.

Brentford didn’t qualify for next year’s Premier League season, following defeat by Fulham in the Championship Playoff Final. Basically, if the Bees were promoted it would have been likely that the Algerian would remain with the side.

However, with the wingman tipped to play in the premiership either way, the Foxes should make a move for their linked target, before it’s too late. Benrahma hasn’t been exceptional in all prominent matches, yet his skill and promise is undeniable.

Leicester City should sign this former EPL wideman

Within the discussion with regard to whom Leicester City are best to target to play wide, most agree that it should be a fairly experienced, rapid, adroit, direct, but not a particularly ageing athlete. At 26, I believe Watford’s Gerard Deulofeu fits the bill perfectly on Filbert Way.

Essentially the Spaniard is precisely what the East Midlanders require. An obvious vacancy for flair and end product on the wing can finally, potentially, be filled. And, respectively, if it is accurate that Leeds United along with Brighton & Hove Albion are the frontrunners for the former Barcelona man, Leicester ought to bid right away!
