Leeds United welcome Leicester City to Elland Road on Monday for a Premier League clash. Here is Foxes of Leicester’s match preview.

Leicester City meet Leeds United at Elland Road on Monday night. This will be a particularly ferociously contested fixture for both teams. And while it’s much easier to play at Leeds without their fanatical support, nevertheless Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa has created quite the team and ethos in Yorkshire.

Although the Argentine is prepared for a tough clash, he still said pre-match that his footballing philosophy won’t alter in order to contain Jamie Vardy.

That may be a fateful decision from the Leeds boss: Vardy is on a ridiculous away goalscoring run with all six of his finishes transpiring away from King Power Stadium. Including three against the fabled Pep Guardiola Manchester City team.

However, injury problems have affected the Foxes dramatically. Currently four starting players have been ruled out of the Leeds fixture: Ricardo Pereira, Wilfred Ndidi, Caglar Soyuncu, as well as Timothy Castagne, now.

Castagne will return after the international break, but fellow defender Jonny Evans is a doubt for Monday. He fell awkwardly versus Arsenal last weekend.

Here is Foxes of Leicester‘s predicted line-up for Brendan Rodgers:

Kasper Schmeichel; James Justin, Wes Morgan, Wesley Fofana, Christian Fuchs; Papy Mendy, Youri Tielemans; James Maddison; Cengiz Under, Harvey Barnes; and Vardy.

While the Leicester squad will be buoyant at present, the Peacocks are equally confident after recent victories and striker Patrick Bamford’s goalscoring exploits. Bamford bagged a hat-trick versus Aston Villa.

Must Read. An excellent balancing act from Rodgers. light

Recently new signing Rodrigo says, according to the Yorkshire club’s website, that the contest ‘will be a difficult one’, along with an outcome being hard to predict. But the Spaniard also asserts that his side must perform as they did in their previous outing. The game he’s referring to is the 3-0 beating of Villa. This time, Leeds might be on the receiving end of a loss.
