Jonny Evans has missed some time this season with a couple of issues. Nothing too serious has occurred, and it seems as though the Northern Irish international is fit again.

With regard to James Maddison, the boss confirmed that the England man – who was snubbed by Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate on the same day as the Braga victory, in which Maddison scored – is now “good to go”, thankfully for the Blue Army.

‘Madders’ has had a few injuries too, stemming from late in the 2019/20 campaign. Yet he’s still managed to play starring bit roles in many of the fine Foxes displays this term; against the Portuguese he sustained some knocks that appear to be inconsequential.
