Ahead of the massive Liverpool game, Leicester City have been boosted by the return of Timothy Castagne and Wesley Fofana to training.

Could you imagine the nightmare of Wesley Fofana sustaining an injury and missing some of the vital Leicester City matches to come? I can. I have – and it is not a nice thought. Basically, the 19-year-old has been so good since joining the Foxes, that if he isn’t every member of the Blue Army’s favourite player yet – then he should be soon!

Fofana did suffer a knock to the knee whilst on international duty with France’s Under-21 squad. After the injury he was sent back to England to be assessed by the Foxes medical staff.

Although there have been no updates from Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers or the club, the fact that the Frenchman is back in full training with his team-mates bodes very well. You can see Fofana back at Belvoir Drive, below.

Additionally, versatile Belgian defender Timothy Castagne is also practicing with the rest of the roster. Castagne missed the last three matches with a problem, but was pictured with the team preparing for the Liverpool clash. If these two athletes are available, it will boost the Foxes immeasurably.

Liverpool have issues

Over in the Liverpool camp there are plenty of problems to discuss, with naturally negative implications for the weekend’s massive game. Where to begin? First of all, leader Virgil Van Dijk is unavailable, as is his defensive partner Joe Gomez.
